AEGEE SPEAKS OUT AGAINST RACISM!

From the 18th till the 26th of March the Human Rights Working Group of AEGEE
is joining the European-Wide Action Week Against Racism. The local group
AEGEE Amsterdam is organizing the conference I LOVE HUMAN RIGHTS, taking
place from the 22 nd to 26th March. The conference concludes with the
20thanniversary celebration of AEGEE Amsterdam.

The conference in Amsterdam will discuss human rights from global, European
and national perspectives with support from the HRWG, an independent working
group within AEGEE, which focuses on Immigration, Racism, Disability, Crimes
against Humanity, Mutual Tolerance and Understanding.

Racism cannot be justified or tolerated. Discrimination on all grounds still
affects many aspects of everyday life. It can be easily spotted - but it can
be also lie hidden. Through the Action Week Against Racism hundreds of
different activities will take place, as a European information and action
campaign proceeds to increase and raise awareness about racism in general.

By organizing I LOVE HUMAN RIGHTS, AEGEE Europe wants to speak out against
racism and encourage all to follow in this endeavour.
