With this email we are going to _introduce_ the NEW

SUMMER UNIVERSITY COORDINATION TEAM FOR 2010

to you as well as _inform_ you about all the

SU DEADLINES for the upcoming year

- so make sure you read it until the end! :D

We already had a team meeting in Munich from November 27th to 29th and
after this meeting we are more than motivated to work hard for you to make
the year of AEGEE’s 25th anniversary also a great year for the SU project!


2) And now probably the most important thing for you as potential SU
organizers and/or participants:


The DEADLINES for the Summer University Project 2010

15.01.2010
- Submission of SU Descriptions for booklet and website online

- End of Registration of Responsibles

(Outgoing Resp. for all antennae, SU Coordinator, Treasurer and Incoming
Responsible for SU Organizers)

30.04.2010
Closure of applications for SU Participants

07.05.2010
Approval Deadline for Outgoing Responsibles

14.05.2010
Publication of preselection results by SUCT

21.05.2010
Publication of selection list by SU organizers


Deadlines for Activity Programms
(this is NEW - a measure taken to improve the quality of SUs - so it means
that SU organizers will send a plan with all the planned activities to the
SUCT some weeks/days before the event starts)
01.06.2010 for all SUs starting in June
01.07.2010 for all SUs starting in July
01.08.2010 for all SUs starting in August
01.09.2010 for all SUs starting in September


01.10.2010

Deadline for participants to fill out the SU evaluation


31.10.2010
Deadline for organizers to submit the financial and activity reports of
their SU

Explanations concerning the things that have to be done until January 15th:

ALL LOCALS:

- should appoint an Outgoing Responsible. This outgoing responsible is the
person who is going to approve all the outgoing applications for each
local. For each member who is applying to a Summer University your local
has to pay 2,50 Euro so it's important that this
function is performed correctly. Also the outgoing responsible should help
new AEGEE members with the registration on the AEGEE website and then for
applying for Summer University.



ALL LOCALS THAT WANT TO ORGANIZE A SUMMER UNIVERSITY:

- should appoint a:

SU Project Coordinator

SU Incoming Responsible

SU Treasurer.

- should provide us with a detailed description of the event.


(At the moment it is not yet possible to submit an event description nor
the SU responsibles, but we will inform you as soon as it will be possible
to do that)
