The best thing you can do this Summer! J I attended LSS last July and for
me it was an eye-opening experience and definitely the most inspiring,
learning, life-changing event of my life. For the ones who are running
locals or want to apply for leadership position in the future this is the
best you can do.
The Leadership Summer School (LSS) is a global, annual, intensive training
event for inspirational youth leaders. During 10 days, the project
fosters skills of motivated participants from all over Europe and
beyond, engaged in international organisations, and supports them on their
path of becoming future leaders and active citizens
The Leadership Summer School 2016 will take place in Pitesti,
Romania from 16th to 25th of July 2016.

The 21st of May is the World Anti-Terrorism Day. Therefore, Democracy in
Practice embarked on a journey to take action against terrorism by
launching the campaign “Make Room for Peace”.
You as an individual, or as an AEGEE local or group are sincerely invited
to take part in th campaign! There is a large repertoire of activities
among which you can choose. You can implement them both individually and in
groups.
You can become an Ambassador or participating in online and offline
activities. Or you can organize something with your locals. In the link
above you can find all the info needed!
✿✿✿ Open Call – AEGEE Merchandising contest ✿✿✿
Do you have great graphic ideas for the AEGEE-Europe merchandising? CD and
PRC are looking for the new design for hoodies and t-shirts of
AEGEE-Europe, as well as other potential set of materials (such as pens,
badges, bags, etc)
Please note that we are NOT necessarily looking for the final design! Do
you have a brilliant idea on a paper sketch, but no designing skills or
time to make it digital? Don’t worry: you can still send it to us and PRC
will make your ideas happen!
The winner will see its piece of art happen in Agora Bergamo, and will
receive a set of merchandising for free.

✿✿✿ Extended Open Call: Hosting Locals of Thematic Conferences - Your
Vision for EUrope project ✿✿✿

The Your Vision for EUrope project is looking for 2 hosting locals for its
thematic conferences! The 3-day conferences are scheduled for the period
between September 2016 and May 2017. As a hosting local you are in charge
of the logistics (lodging, conference rooms, transport, food and social
programme) of a conference, whereas the content development is in the hands
of the Your Vision for EUrope project team.
The open call for hosting locals of two of our conferences has been
extended. The new deadline is the 9th of April 23:59 CET.

The Your Vision for EUrope project, currently consisting of 17 members, is
looking a Fundraising Manager. As Fundraising Manager you will mainly be
responsible for coordinating the work of the fundraising team (which
already consists of two people), for developing fundraising strategies and
writing grant proposals. Additionally you will be communicating with locals
concerning grant applications, keeping track of all the work done and
updating the rest of the project team about the fundraising progress.

La cosa migliore che potreste fare quest’estate! J Ho partecipato alla LSS
lo scorso Luglio e per me è stata un’esperienza che mi ha illuminato ed è
sicuramente l’evento che mi ha cambiato la vita. Per le persone che
vogliono gestire una local o che vogliono fare application per posizioni di
leadership, questa è la miglior cosa che potete fare per prepararvi a
quello che vi attende.
La Leadership Summer School (LSS) è un evento di training globale e annuale
per i giovani leaders si tutto il mondo. Durante questi 10 giorni, il
progetto favorisce le competenze di partecipanti motivati da tutta Europa e
oltre, coinvolti in organizzazioni internazionali, e li supporta nel loro
cammino verso la cittadinanza attiva e futura leadership.
La LSS 2016 sarà a Pitesti, Romania dal 16 al 25 Luglio.

Democracy in Practice si è imbarcata in un viaggio per delle azioni contro
il terrorismo, lanciando la campagna “Make Room for Peace”.
Voi come indivisui, o come local AEGEE o come gruppo siete sinceramente
invitati a prendere parte nella campagna! C’è un largo repertorio di
attività tra le quali potete scegliere. Voi potete implementarle sia
individualmente che in gruppi.
Potete diventare Ambasciatore o partecipare nelle attività online e
offline. Oppure potete organizzare qualcosa con la vostra local. Nel link

Avete delle idee grafiche per il merchandising di AEGEE-Europe? Il CD e PRC
stanno cercando nuovi designes per felpe e tshirts di AEGEE-Europe, così
come altri potenziali materiali ( penne, badges, borse, etc)
Non è necessario che mandiate il design finale! Se avete delle idee
brillanti, potete fare anche un disegno e poi si occuperò della
realizzazione il PRC. Il vincitore avrà questo merchandising gratis
all’Agora Bergamo.

Il progetto Your Vision for Europe sta cercando due hosting locals per le
sue conferenze tematiche! Le conferenze da tre giorni sono programmate per
il periodo tra Settembre 2016e Maggio 2017. Come hosting local sarete
responsabili della logistica (vitto, alloggio, spazi, trasporti e social
programme) della conferenza, mentre I contenuti saranno sviluppati dal
project team di Your Vision for Europe.

Il progetto Your Vision for Europe che consiste di 17 membri, sta cercando
un Fundraising Manager. Come FR Manager sarai principalmente responsabile
del coordinamento del lavoro del team FR (che conta già di due persone),
per sviluppare delle strategie di FR e scrivere proposte per ricevere dei
grants. Inoltre sarai in contatto con le locals, riguardo alle grants
applications, tenendo traccia del lavoro fatto e aggiornando il resto del
team sui progressi fatti.
