Ciao ragazzi, Lucille del CD mi ha chiesto di inoltrare quest'evento sulla
nostra mailing list per promuovere quest'evento tra gli italiani che si
trovano vicino Maribor e che hanno (relativamente) più facilità a
raggiungere la città.
Si tratta del primo evento di questo tipo che AEGEE sta portando avanti e
sarebbe importante se specialmente membri attivi o con voglia di attivarsi
partecipassero :)

Over the past few months it has been hard to overlook: AEGEE is doing
thematic policy again!

Back in October two Policy Officers started working on Youth participation
and Sustainability. They have analysed the current situation, defined
subtopics to focus on, and presented you with surveys to collect your
thoughts. The first results on Youth participation are already in, and
those on Sustainability will follow soon. Now it is time to move to the
next step with the:

*Joint Consultation Event on Youth participation and Sustainability*

*When:* 26-28 April
*Where:* Maribor, Slovenia
*Who:* 2 x 20 participants

What can you expect during these 3 days? On the 26th, you will arrive in
Maribor where you will meet the other participants, and go on a *city tour* by
the members of AEGEE-Maribor. The 27th and 28th will be focused on *writing
practical recommendations*towards policy-makers at various levels. These
will build on your own opinions, as well as the results of the surveys.

Each of the Policy Officers has been working on 2 main topics, which will
be tackled during these 2 days. In the mornings there will be *workshops
with young experts* on the Recognition of volunteering and Democratic
participation, Education for sustainability and Sustainable
entrepreneurship.

During this event, *parallel sessions* will take place on Youth
participation and Sustainability, so each participant gets to chose his/h
er preferred topics. But of course there will also be possibilities to *give
feedback* on the work of the other groups, as well as using online input
from the network.

On top of this, you will have the possibility to *talk with some MEPs* joining
us on Friday afternoon, and enjoy the cultural delights of Slovenia during
the *Slovenian night* on Sunday.
