On 2nd July, AEGEE- Venezia organized an informal Local Training Day
[LTD]in order to motivate new members and give them the appropriate
knowledge of
AEGEE they need.

A group of around 15 people (from the locals of Brescia, Udine, Padova,
Ferrara, Treviso & ,of course, Venezia) spent the day between *Mestre* and
*Venezia* listening to the lessons given by the trainers: Netcommie Dino
Margiotta, Financial director of AEGEE Europe Michele Turati and one of the
les Anciens of AEGEE, Davide Calenda.

The* LTD* began with a simple but very important question: all the
participants had to introduce themselves and explain what AEGEE is for them.
The lessons focused on topics such as *history of AEGEE, AEGEE Structure,
Fields of Action, AEGEE Working Groups, Youth Exchanges, SUs* and so on.

All the participants followed with interest the great job the trainers did
and they ended up asserting that the LTD has been a *positive
experience*that let them know a bit more about our great organization
and how to work
for the organization on local activities and European events.

The day ended with participants and trainers drinking spritz in Venice.

*If you haven't found your place on Europe yet, find it with Find Europe .
Or give others chance to find it... maybe in your city. *

The *Find Europe Project * gathers high quality cultural European events
aimed at transferring to participants a deep knowledge on the place where it
is held, on the customs and traditions of the local people, developing in
participants' intercultural sensitivity, and understanding.

In particular, Find Europe events are recommended to be organized in time
converging with special and traditional happenings, in order to give the
participants the possibility to participate in them.

The next Find Europe event is going to take place in *ITALY *. The lower
Ticino, the wonderful environment, and the local celebrations of the "Festa
del Ticino" are waiting for you in *PAVIA *. Do not hesitate and APPLY :

*AEGEE-ZAGREB* was founded in 1991, at the time when *Croatia* gained its
independence. It was a unique opportunity for most young people to gain
insight into the life of their peers around Europe. Today *Croatia* is on
the way to become a member of EU, but because of AEGEE young people in
Croatia already feel as part of a unified Europe. ZAGREB is the capital of
Croatia. It is known for its numerous galleries, museums and its lovely
parks. It was founded in the Middle Ages as two neighbouring towns, one
secular, one ecclesiastical, on a hill above the *River Sava*. Since 1991
AEGEE-ZAGREB developed into a strong antenna with more than 100 members. In
its history AEGEE-Zagreb organized many events: SU, New Year's Events, Case
Study Trips, RM, cultural exchanges etc. New Year's Event was the biggest
New Year's Event in AEGEE accepting 100 participants. Unfortunately in the
last few years AEGEE-Zagreb fell asleep but in *2005* the new board has
breathed new life into AEGEE-Zagreb. In December they organized a special
event Santa Claus is coming to Zagreb. They also found a partner antenna;
AEGEE-Sakarya–so they are organizing cultural exchange.

They plan to organize SU in the next year!

And they plan to revive AEGEE-Zagreb's tradition in organizing *New Year's
Event *this year! So you are all welcome to apply to the biggest and
craziest AEGEE New Year's celebration! AEGEE-Zagreb is always open for new
friendships, contacts and ideas so do not hesitate to contact them at

After months of silence finally the fog around the Fall Agora 2006 in Napoli
is fading away faster and faster leaving room for the first images of this
sensational event.

The *Agora* will start as announced on the 2nd of *November* and finish on
the 5th , four days to be spent in a very famous place in *Napoli* for
meetings, congresses and fairs the "*Mostra* *D'Oltremare*" situated in the
area of *Campi* *Flegrei* in the neighbourhood of *Fuorigrotta* just 20
metres from the temple of the Neapolitan Football, the "S. Paolo" Stadium
where Maradona and many others made people dream.

On the other hand, after a period of uncertainty because of the political
elections, institutions showed a big interest in the event and the *Mayor
Rosa Russo Iervolino* and her collaborators are willing to support the
organizing team led by the Coordinator *Amedeo Ferrara* in all the
difficulties they will face. And from the point of view of sponsorship, many
are the things in preparation…..maybe it will be easier for some lucky ones
to come to this Agora….

Applications will open from late August and all the deadlines can be checked
on the official agora website that will be online very soon, which will also
include all the useful information about reaching Napoli, the Agora place,
the program and sponsors.

More and more news and surprises that cannot be revealed now will follow in
the next months….so be patient and don't be too curious now….*There's time
for...Everything.*
