Editorial
Here we are again, only this time you can notice the new name and the new design - these are the fruit of the great AGORA we have just had in Naples, and Dino will explain everything about the changes that were implemented in the following article.
I would like to start by thanking the AEGEE-Napoli organisers for their hard work, I'm sure we all appreciated the good results especially in the limited time you had! The pre events and post events were a great success as well, we might have some articles and photos from them in the following NetTGs.
In this first NET-TG , we have some reports from past events and in the Upcoming Events section you can see that some new events have cropped up, as the Global T1me 5aga, organized by AEGEE Ljubjana and the pre-event organized by AEGEE Nova Gorica/Gorizia....

Introduction
A few days after the great AGORA Napoli and I've felt yet the impact of 1000 AEGEE members flooding its airport, train station and its seaport. They were all look somewhat similar, with their backpacks and sleeping bags, the AEGEE stickers, maybe an AEGEE t-shirt and the clink of bottles for the European Night ;)
As you know this AGORA will be remembered for some historical Network changes. First of all, the Regions aren't there anymore and instead of then, the "new" Network is structured in several group of locals with, as point of reference, TEAMs led by the different NetCommies, as I've explained you in a previous e.mail on our L.

Network Meeting in Cosenza
Just a few days ago we finished the first Network Meeting organized in our area by a young local (AEGEE Cosenza) and it was a great success and an unforgettable AEGEE event even if, unfortunately, for different reasons, the day before the organizers received some cancellations from participants. Anyway there was a very nice group but with few locals represented; great was the presence of really fresh and motivated members from AEGEE Catania and important the presence of a member from AEGEE Augsburg.....and an other one from Lebanon (AEGEE Roma former Secretary). The participants were about 20 and the trainers 3: me, Bojana Brankov (CD) & the Pirate-SubCommie Giuseppe Siciliano (AEGEE Lecce). The AEGEE representatives were hosted in the beautiful town by the sea, Ricadi, near Calabria 's famous tourist attraction Tropea. The lodging was in an amazing villa/hotel by the sea and we there spent magic moments , playing to " hondo ", with the beautiful view of Capo Vaticano in front of the Eolie Islands and the rocks of the Grotta delle Sirene. An AEGEE dream!! The beach was about 10 metres far, a private beach only for us with summer weather, and there was also a billiard room and other things.
Anyway, it was an important event in order to focus on the internal education of our locals and we organized several lectures and workshops getting good results with the participants. First of all, on the 21 st of October , we started with an AEGEE introduction talking about the history, the European structure, WGs, Project teams, etc... and afterwards we talked about the new Network restructuring and we discussed on the new changes. There were in the group only 3 board members of different locals and so before introducing the changes we spent some time talking about the previous Network internal task division. Then an interesting workshop concerning the PR on local level was an important moment for the representatives of the locals to share their experience and to organize some common PR strategies on local & European level. The young local of AEGEE Cosenza is planning their first Summer University (language course) and also some common local events with the neighbours in order to enhance that part of the Network and also the communication between the locals.
After the WG presentation & the Netcommie Report (the report about the work did by the Team between Warszawa May 2006 - Napoli November 2006), there was a long discussion about the Flagship Project Presentation (Bologna Process ) lead by Bojana and we've discovered the lack of knowledge of this project. We concluded the day with an Agora Speed Course and with a simulation of it. The last day (22nd) we had a great time with a sightseeing tour of Tropea.
I want to wish all the best to AEGEE Cosenza for their great Work and the perfect organization of their first event, the first event made in that part of the Network!! Great result!!! I'm sure that Cosenza , lead by Stefania , Salvatore , Francesco & Domenico , can get good results growing up in the next months. Compliments! Now, waiting for the organization of the next Spring Network Meeting (I really hope to organize it in another "new" part of our Network)
I wish you ALL the Best!!! Your Netcommie......

Local of the Month - AEGEE-Firenze
The first traces regarding AEGEE-Firenze date back to 1991 when our Antenna started the first organized activities, and in 1992 finally signed the Convention d'Adhesion at the Agora held in Delft. Since that time AEGEE-Firenze organized many events: 13 Summer Universities (among which 2 Travel SUs in collaboration with AEGEE-Pisa and Siena), 1 Regional meeting (in 1997) and many many other events like exchanges, Erasmus-trips (Carnival of Venice, Sicily, Napoli, Chianti-countryside) and Action-days (European day of languages, Dance Action Day, Cinema night).
However, our most "famous" events were two in particular. The first one was our 10th anniversary celebration called "Alive & Kicking" in October 2002 and attended by 120 Aegeeans: The great event lasted 2 days non-stop, and was held in Villa Sperling in a village in the Apennine mountains.
The second one instead was the Post Agora "From Medieval till Renaissance time" organized in November 2004 after the Fall Agora in Torino. 100 participants took possession of a hostel situated in one of the most characteristic parts of the city, enjoying a full immersion into the artistic beauties, culinary and nightlife of Firenze.
Nowadays AEGEE-Firenze is guided by a dynamic team including fresh and "old" members, enjoys partnership of the university and the municipality of Firenze (in particular Informagiovani), is organizing lots of local activities, and helps weaker locals - and we have a new, updated website: please visit us virtually at www.aegeefirenze.it

Local Training Course in Milano
On 7th and 8th October an informal LTC took place in Milan bringing together 15 fresh and motivated members from Torino, Milano, Pavia, Bergamo, Udine, Roma and also from the new official Contact Vercelli that really aim at becoming a Contact Antenna as soon as possible.
The Pirates' boss Dino and the SubCommie Mauro led a short AEGEE introduction and more detailed lectures about the association structure and activities, about local PR and a speed, but useful Agora course. Participants were also informed about the changes related to the "Reshaping Regions" process and the opportunity of co-operating and supporting French locals and at last enjoyed a HONDO lesson.
On Saturday night, an exciting and deserved social programme started, including typical "aperitivo", pub-crawling and eventually party in a disco till 5 a.m., and, in spite of the very little sleep, all the participants were present at the course on Sunday morning.
During the whole weekend, participants demonstrated a very positive, interactive and enthusiastic attitude, and were very satisfied by this LTC and the knowledge they got. This LTC has also been an occasion for members of NW Italian locals to know each other and has probably represented the first step for what is going to be a fruitful co-operation for such neighbouring Antennae that may enhance that part of Our Network.
